Cyclic tectono-magmatic evolution of TTG source regions in plume-lid tectonics

چکیده
The appearance of the earliest felsic crust can be estimated by dating zircons and rocks tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorite (TTG) composition. However, necessary geodynamic processes that form basis for metamorphism differentiation as well role emerging TTG on evolving crustal dynamics is still poorly understood. To investigate formation with composition, we conduct a detailed analysis series previously published 3D high-resolution magmatic-thermomechanical models at elevated mantle temperature corresponding to Archean conditions. In these observed two distinct phases during coupled cyclic tectonomagmatic crust-mantle evolution: long quiet growth phase followed short rapid overturn phase. Results model presented here suggest (1) Low- medium-pressure TTGs are formed base both low- linked Moho depth. ratio changes or thinning gives an approximation thickness. (2) high-pressure entirely different mechanism required, hydrated basaltic need buried below crust. Direct partial melting cold eclogitic drips excluded valid due their low temperatures sinking into deep mantle. Rather delamination (peeling-off) subduction main process some production.

متن کاملSolidification fronts and magmatic evolution
From (3. F. Becker's and L. V. Pirsson's early enunciations linking the dynamics of magma chambers to the rock records of sills and plutons to this day, two features stand at the centre of nearly every magmatic process: solidification fronts and phenocrysts. The structure and behaviour of the envisioned solidification front, however, has been mostly that akin to non-silicate, non-multiply-satur...
متن کاملCharacteristics of tectono-magmatic alkali gabbros in northern Fathabad, Zarand (NW Kerman): based on the pyroxene mineral chemistry
Fathabad area is located in northwest of the city of Zarand (Kerman province) in the Posht-e-Badam block of the central Iran structural zone. The Ordovician–Silurian gabbroic stocks have intruded into volcanic-sedimentary rocks of the Rizu series. The gabbros are mainly composed of clinopyroxene, kaersutite, plagioclase and biotite. Electron microprobe analyses demonstrate that the clinopyroxen...
متن کاملpetrology, mineral chemistry and tectono-magmatic setting of volcanic rocks from northeast farmahin, north of arak
introduction the study area is a small part of the urumieh-dokhtar structural zone in the markazi province, located in the northeastern part of the farmahin, north of arak (hajian, 1970). the volcanic rocks studied from the area include andesite, dacite, rhyodacite, ignimbrite and tuff of middle to late eocene age (middle lutetian to upper lutetian) (ameri et al., 2009). it seems that folding a...
